The Oil Debris Sensor is designed for equipment that uses oil as a lubricant.

Once fitted as a 'smart' sump plug replacement, or within an oi bypass circuit, the sensor uses a powerful magnet to attract ferrous particles suspended within the oil as a result of wear to the internal components. Able to determine between fire and coarse debris, the sensor can also alert or continuously monitor either oil temperature or water presence. 

Supplied with a local display unit, the sensor can be installed into a wide variety of fittings and is available with either a 0-10V, 4-20mA, or CAN digital output. 

The Starter Kit includes the following:

  •  2 x WearDetect oil debris sensors
  • 1 x probe installation kit
  • (10 thread adapters for metric, NPT, BSP, and UNF drain port types)
  • 1 x Crows foot spanner (36 mm)
  • 1 x Precision tool kit for installation
  • 1 x Fine and course debris test strip
  • 1 X Optional Display
  • Access to on-line training video and content
