The LA PD28AP1 ambient light sensor chip is a PIN photodiode chip with 0.27 mm2 sensitive area and high photo sensitivity. It is sensitive to visible light much like the human eye and has peak sensitivity at 560nm. Anode is the bond on top. Cathode is the backside contact.
